 The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Student Counseling Center has opportunities for a full-time Psychoeducational Testing Psychologist and a Staff Psychologist. The Psychoeducational Testing Psychologist will provide LD/ADHD evaluations for UMB students and workshops and programming to the UMB community on supporting adult learners with LD/ADHD. This position will also supervise the Academic Coaching Program, UMB staff who provide one-to-one coaching for students on time management, study skills, and organization. In this role the Psychologist is responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordinating and implementing of the mental health program in accordance with NCCHC standards, and will serve as the mental health liaison between the medical unit and facility staff. Other specific responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one intervention and follow-up of inmates/patients who suffer from substance abuse. Providing input to facility administration regarding treatment response and progress reports of inmates/patients on a regularly scheduled basis. Facilitating admission and placement of certified inmates/patients in forensic and community Mental Health facilities. Initiating the required paperwork for the inmates/patient's entry. Monitoring all psychiatric/psychological clinical services provided. Monitoring and documenting treatment responses of inmates/patients and documents. The Caroll County Youth Service Bureau Children’s SMART Clinic is seeking a licensed psychologist to work with children ages 0-12 at the Carroll County Youth Service Bureau in Westminster, MD. This candidate may have potential for expansion in the SMART Clinic program in the future. The position will require specific expertise in early childhood development and behavioral health including diagnosis and assessment. Specific responsibilities will include Conduct psychological, neuropsychological, and diagnostic evaluations for a wide range of disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, behavior disorders, and developmental disabilities. Competence with a wide range of gold-standard assessment measures including ADOS-2, Bayley-3, Mullen, WPPSI-IV, WIAT, and behavioral questionnaires. Competence should include administration, scoring, interpretation, and comprehensive reporting that is understandable by patients and other professionals with practical recommendations. Use of Electronic Health Record (myEvolv), Active collaboration with early childhood community partners including the education and health systems, mental health providers, and school system staff. Collaboration with the clinic team to identify and refer to evidence -based treatment services for young children. Offer short-term consultative services around developmental, behavioral, and learning needs including general parenting, behavioral management, system engagement, and advocacy. Case consultation will center on behavioral and mental health concerns, and may include developmental and mental health screenings, plus additional testing as required.
