With schools back in session and workers returning to the office, some are celebrating, but not all. Some had social anxiety before the pandemic, others are facing this for the first time, but how do we best help them? This workshop is for practitioners who have knowledge of basic principles of treating anxiety using cognitive behavioral therapy. Come learn how to support individuals who struggle with social anxiety as they return to daily activities post-quarantine.

After attending this workshop, attendees will be able to

  • Identify the impact of not engaging in social situations on social anxiety in individuals with biological vulnerabilities to anxiety
  • Help individuals who are socially anxious to address their fears and return to daily activies
