PSYPACT is a cooperative interstate agreement enacted into law by participating states that allows for the provision of psychological services via tele-communications technologies within compact states by licensed psychologists. PSYPACT authorizes both telepsychology and temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology across state lines in PSYPACT states. MPA successfully advocated to bring PSYPACT to Maryland during 2021 legislative session in Annapolis. This session will answer your questions from the application process to what it means for Maryland to be a PSYPACT state.
