Amy Polefrone, MPA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CVR, President & Chief Executive Officer 

Amy guides the strategic direction of HR Strategy Group with an inspiring vision built from more than 30 years of human resources leadership experience. She also heads up the HR Crisis Management practice for the firm. Amy focuses on executive HR management consultations with Boards, CEOs, and CFOs across nonprofits, high tech start-ups, telecommunications, information technology, insurance, education, and other business sectors. She is known for her drive, positive attitude, and keen attention to problem solving in every client engagement.

Amy is a nationally recognized speaker on workplace issues, including harassment in the workplace, and she has been featured in national and international media outlets. She is active in the HR profession and in the Maryland business community. Amy is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), World at Work, Howard County Human Resources Society, BWI Business Partnership, Maryland Nonprofits, Howard Chamber of Commerce, and Howard Tech Council. She speaks to industry groups about the importance of sound HR fundamentals and best practices in business operations. Prior to starting HR Strategy Group, Amy held HR management positions at major corporations, worked in various HR roles within government agencies, and taught as an adjunct instructor at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.

Amy received an M.P.A. from The American University and a B.A. in Religious Studies from The College of Wooster. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resource Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP designations, the highest designations available to HR professionals. Additionally, she is a Certified Veteran Recruiter (CVR) designed to help forward-thinking companies improve how they recruit and retain veterans in the workforce.

Lindsay Moore, MS, PHR, SHRM-CP, Executive Vice President for Client Engagements 

Lindsay leads the HR Advisory Services practice with a client-first approach to solving problems that comes from 12+ years of management and human resources experience. She works with clients across many industries and has particular expertise with federal contractors, real estate, healthcare, information technology, homeowners' associations, higher education, small business, and non-profit enterprises. Lindsay is known for her attention to detail, broad and deep knowledge, friendliness, and follow-through on work deliverables.  Lindsay is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is involved with various community and professional organizations including Howard County HR Society and Montgomery County HR Society. 

Prior to joining HR Strategy Group, Lindsay held HR management positions in real estate, government contracting, and staffing industries. In all settings, she built HR departments from the ground up. Lindsay has hands-on experience managing, transitioning, and implementing company-wide system changes such as HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, applicant tracking, and 401(k) administration. Lindsay has an extensive background in search and recruitment. She has effectively recruited and managed various levels of professionals.
