We know that you may not have the time to serve on an MPA/MPAGS committee or Board. Did you know there are other ways to get involved? Here are just a few.

Healthy Kids Day

Every April, MPA serves as an exhibitor at YMCAs throughout the state as part of The Y's Healthy Kids Day. This fun half-day activity helps families understand the importance of mental health while promoting the association. MPA staff are on hand along with members of our Public Education Committee. MPA in Your Neighborhood

MPA in Your Neighborhood is our networking outreach to the Maryland counties. Each networking event has the option of a free one-hour CE workshop. Volunteers are asked to host the event or conduct the CE workshop. If you have space for up to 20 attendees, please consider hosting a future MPA in Your Neighborhood. For more information, please contact our Executive Director Stefanie Reeves at [email protected]

Student monitors: MPA annual convention and Essential Requirements Conference

Students are eligible to attend our annual convention and/or Essential Requirements Conference (ERC) for free in exchange for serving as a student monitor. Monitors provide assistance during the workshops including working the registration table, ensuring attendees sign into their sessions, and other duties as assigned. If interested, please reach out to Veronica Rand.
