This workshop will focus on two areas of remote assessment: research and practice. After a brief review of the literature, we will spend the majority of the time discussing various options for tele-assessment. There will be an emphasis on practical considerations, strategies, and technology. While important, this workshop will NOT dive deeply into the ethics or liability of remote assessment.

 After attending this workshop, attendees will be able to

Jeremy Sharp, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and the Director at the Colorado Center for Assessment & Counseling, a private practice that he founded in 2009 and grew to include over ten clinicians and a full administrative staff. He earned his undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina before getting my Master’s and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. These days, Dr. Sharp specializes in psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with kids and adolescents. As the host of the Testing Psychologist Podcast, he provides private practice coaching for psychologists and other mental health professionals who want to start or grow psychological testing services in their practices. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife (also a therapist) and two young kids.
